İrem Ekim Demir was born in 1998 in Istanbul. Currently studying at Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, Department of Photography.

Centering on the concepts of self and identity, the work explores themes of body, memory, and belonging. With a growing interest in documentary photography, these questions are examined across a broader social and physical landscape.
